Bikini Here I come!

It's about time for the pool to open up and the boat & wave runners to get put into the lake. I am so excited for relaxing this summer and not having to get the kids to school on time.

I'm going to spend as much time in my swimsuit as possible- even though I don't think I'll be able to get to work out as much as I want to...Bikini Here I come!

Time Flies

I am totaly obsessed with how fast time flies. It's almost time for the kids to be done with school for the summer. I can't believe that Lola is done with nursery school and going into Kindgergarten in the fall....wow! Josh is going into forth grade and Sasha is stuck at Beth El for another 3 years. I can't wait for the day that 2 out of 3 kids will be in one school!

Lola and I went last september
and I took this picture of her there but I scrapped it about a month ago.

Had dinner with Leslie and Angie last Friday. Leslie was in town from LA, so we met Angie at Bacio for dinner. We had so much fun catching up on old times, new happenings, and boyfriend/ex husband drama. I love being with these girls, we don't get a chance to do this often, as a matter of fact, we've only done this a few times because we haven't all lived in the same state for years {Angie and I live in Mpls now, Leslie lives in Los Angeles} we also haven't all spoken to each other off and on for years.

Dinner was yummy, friends were wonderful, good times had by all!!!

The Flower and the Fountain

The day after Sasha turned 2, I took these pictures at a nursery in Long Lake. We were waiting for Josh at Karate and Sasha was having a hard time sitting still, so we took a walk. Sasha has always loved flowers and water- what a great score we found both here. She had a hard time keeping herself from pulling the pretty buds off the flower and after she pulled them off she would run to the fountain and put the petals in the fountain and watch it spin around.

I love watching her in action...my girl.

Sasha's 2nd birthday

Lola 312 cafe

Lola and I had lunch at the 312 cafe today. It was so nice to sit outside and catch some early spring sunshine. Lola is getting more grown up by the day- she's got a few more weeks of pre-school and then she's going to be in Kindergarten!

The day before Sasha's birthday...

I drive the girls to school in the mornings. I should have known something was going on this morning because Sasha was very quiet the entire ride. We arrive at school and stop the car, Lola breaks out laughing so hard. I looked at the two girls and was shocked to discover that Sasha had written all over her face with a ball point pen. We walk into her class still laughing and were greated by Owen who loves to give Sasha hugs. They were both oblivious to what her face looked like...must be love!

My mom and I took Lola and Sasha to the toy store the day before Sasha's birthday to see what kind of toys she may like for her birthday. We had so much fun playing with all the toys, bikes, and dancing Elmo's. What a great way to spend the afternoon...making a mess someplace besides our house. I think I'm going to make a day of it next week...pack a lunch and bring a blanket (they have bed's).

We went to Woody's afterward for dinner...the girls love pasta with broccoli.

Fabulous day- I don't have to clean up toys or dishes!!!

Birthday Dinner at Giannis Steakhouse

It's official I am 38!

Ok, I can live with this. I've been doing fine so far at every age I've been, why should this be so different or bad?

money under our mattress,
I'm doing just fine

My family (dad, mom, aunt, sister in law, brother in law, mother in law, father in law, and husband) took me and my aunt (who's birthday is the same day as me) out to dinner for a great dinner. Andy get's gifts for me...which are in two HUGE boxes. I open up the first one and it's a great pair of Christian Louboutin heels (I was wearing them already) how funny is that...he has no idea what I wear!!! The second pair of Christian Louboutin heels was too small on me but super cute...my mother in law is holding them. My husband is AAAAHHHHMAAZZZZING!
