AWWWW thanks for the rose

AWWWW thanks for the rose

Andy and I were in Phoenix, AZ for The Silver Summit. We had such a great time working together. Every once in a while I go with him when he has trade shows or when he is speaking engagements. I love to travel with him and watch him in business action. I watch him speak in rooms filled with potential investors or just curious followers, and I am just astonished at how well spoken he has become. It's just so wonderful knowing that all these people in the ball room are here to listen to my brilliant husband.

Every show that we do we always get stalkers/hanger-oners. Some of the names I remember are Bob Unger from Orlando, Carlton from Arizona, the Yoga guy from the LA show, Melanie from the Las Vegas show...the list is much longer then that. Some of these people go from show to show collecting ideas about investing in Precious Metals, oil, medical, stocks, etc. I assume that a lot of these people are there collecting all the booth temptations...It's crazy when we started doing trade shows all the shwag that was handed out freely and how it's difficult to even get a pen these days. You can see how the economy has even effected that part of the industry- where you can't get anything for free even when companies are trying to get you to invest your money.

We drove to Scottsdale with Michael and Leslie looking for a Bar that Michael used to own 20+ years ago. He hadn't been back in years but he was convinced that he knew where he was going...we drove for about an hour looking for it...we never found the bar (unfortunately) but we had a nice time having drinks at another bar.

Thanks babe for the rose...I love it!

Layout Monday #6

A few months ago Andy's parents and his sister Betsy and her husband David all went to dinner and to see Cheech and Chong. During dinner one night we decided to order these tickets...Andy got so excited that everyone wanted to go, he grabbed his dad's credit card and charged all of the seats to it. Little did he know but he was going through a broker instead of Ticketmaster and each seat cost close to $200. We have kept this dirty little secret for months now. The show was horrible but it was fun hanging out with family.

A Good Book to Read

This picture was taken this one winter morning while the kids were home before breakfast. I just scrapped it. I love the carpet matt that's behind the picutre.

From when Josh was a little man he has ALWAYS liked to look at books. He would have us read and re-read books all the time. I would hide certain books from him because after reading those few books 40 times a day I would go mental. He looked for them and looked for them- I felt so bad but I was trying to save my sanity!

Now Sasha is the same way with books. She must read when she's eating a meal. I keep a stack of books right in front of her place at the table. She's super into I spy books right now. I am going to take a picture of her stack today- I wish I would have for Josh as well.

It's almost time for breakfast- must brace myself for another round of repetitive book reading.

Layout Monday #5

We've taken the kids for ski lessons this winter. Josh is getting pretty good at getting around the mountain. Ok, it's a really big hill...we live in Minneapolis. It's so fun to watch him get excited about all of his skiing accomplishments. Besides school, this is the first activity that he has really enjoyed doing and there is very little complaining...I hope that this is the sport that he chooses to excel at. I am super proud of him!

I've spled Chocolate wrong...did anyone notice?

Gathering of Princess'

Lola celebrated her 5th birthday party with 22 little Princesses. They were all so sweet. My little girl is 5 and I have been thinking about where the time has gone...just yesterday I was changing her diaper, holding her in my arms, rocking her to sleep. Now, I wish I could pause time for a moment and go back to that special spot that I shared with her. I want my little baby back...stay sweet my love.

A morning in the life of Sasha

Sasha in the closetWhat a morning!
Sasha wakes up and there's trouble surrounding her.
She's up no more then 1 hour and...
  1. While eating breakfast- she spills her juice glass all over her high chair.
  2. She throws her books under the table and crawls under to get them...can't get her out for 15 minutes
  3. She destroys the front closet- pulling all the shoes off the shelves.
  4. The best yet...I am cleaning the closet and I come into the kitchen to find a very naughty girl drawing on the wall.
I THINK IT'S TIME TO GO BACK TO SLEEP!!!!

Gone Baby Gone

Andy has been traveling a lot lately. Right now he's in Florida, at the World Money Show...he's speaking with some big names in the financial world. I'm super happy he's busy but I've been missing him so much. He tells me this is the time that he needs to take advantage of his business and that maybe the growth will last 5-7 more years if we are lucky.

Get it while it's good babe but come home soon!

Maybe my honey will take me on a vacation sometime in the near future...Hawaii sure sounds good.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY

Lola birthday dinner

It's Lola's birthday today!!!!

We celebrated Lola's birthday at her school Beth El- Seriously had so much fun watching her be the center of attention- we all know how much us girls like a great party, especially when it's all about us. What a birthday party celebration Lola had- they made my girl feel so special.

We went for dinner with my mom tonight {Andy's out of town} to Lola's fav restaurant {Big Bowl}. Had her fav dinner and fried ice cream...YUMMY! Who needs birthday cake, just stick a candle into the ice cream and viola.

I can't believe that my baby is 5 years old today. I wish I had pictures of her the day she was born on this computer but I don't.

I'll just let you know how I felt...AHHHHMAZING!

Lola is one of the nicest girls I know, she's beautiful, sweet, sensitive, she has inner beauty and is her own person. When she walks into a room, all you can do is smile, she's positive, happy, and never worries about anything. Lola loves cartoons, to listen to music and to dance. She's a great artist, and loves to sit next to me and work on "projects." My daughter is the love of my life, I love every minute of my life knowing that she is in it.

JOURNALING:

I heard you laughing so hard, so I ran into the room you were in to find you wearing Lola's pants on your head. Since then, you love to wear pants on your head. I don't mind but I've caught you wearing my panties from the hamper before and that's where I draw the line.

Lola's birthday invites

Lola's birthday party is coming up and we are all so excited! I've waited until Lola turns 5 to give her an official Princess Party. We've invited almost 30 girls and we've requested all the pretty girls wear their Princess Finest.

Here's the invitation that I have made. I had to hand deliver each one in a Minneapolis snow storm....what we do for our little Princess girls!
