Pilates

Three days a week I go to a studio in Wayzata to do Pilates. It's such an amazing work out and I have to say I have reached the one of those "highs" I hear so many people who work out reach when they crave exercise. This is the first time in my life I have ever stuck to a work out program, I am super proud of myself >>>grin<<<. I really hope that my pilates mojo continues because I am working on finding my center and my chi...I'll let you know if it shows up. In the meantime, check out www.pilatesmn.com.

Layout Monday #3

I love this button jacket that Sasha is wearing. It's another piece of fantastic clothing passed down from older sister Lola. I love seeing clothes that Lola wore when she was just a baby now on Sasha...It always brings back such great memories.

I would like tonight to consist of...

my kids.
my love.
pizza.
ice cream.
tequila.
singing.
dancing.
laughing.
adventure.
happy movies.
pictures.
memories.

Juicy Tears

Sasha is a wild girl...Andy likes to say that she was born
WITH A QUARTER SHOVED UP HER REAR END.

Sasha got a new jacket, new tights, and she was wearing her sisters shoes. We walk outside to get into the car and she takes off around the corner. She starts running down the hill, falls and rolls all the way down. Toar her tights up and got grass stains on her new Juicy jacket.
How can you be mad at a girl who's this cute and has giant tears in her eyes?

I took this picture on 10.29.08.

Layout Monday #1

Today I am going to start something new. I am going to publish at least one scrapbook page right here, every Monday...I know, it's super exciting, it is for me as well.

I am so far behind in my scrapbooks, it's not funny. I am going to try and make at least 5 pages a week. I just did the math... I'm working on is my life with Andy, we have been together for almost 7 years. I have at least 10,000 pictures to make layouts for. That's 27.3 pages a day...just to catch up! I maybe a bit busier than I thought!

Anyone wanna come over for a crop?

Happy New Year

I can't even believe that another year has gone by. Just yesterday it was 2008- Oh yeah, it was yesterday. The saying goes that "Time flies when your having fun," I am not sure if that is completely true because it flies when I'm cleaning my house, it flies when I'm doing laundry and making the beds. It flies by when I'm watching my kids grow, it flies by when I am looking for just 5 more minutes in my day. If I wanted it to stand still I would watch water boil, look at paint drying, watch the snow melt.

...While we dawdle, our lives pass swiftly.

The proverb has been traced back in English to 1386 in Chaucer's 'Prologue to the Clerk's Tale.' The earliest American appearance in print is 1710 in 'Mayflower Descendant.' The idea was first expressed by Virgil (70-19 B.C.), who wrote in the 'Aeneid': Fugit inreparabile tempus' (Time is flying never to return)..."

From "Random House Dictionary of Popular Proverbs and Sayings" by Gregory Y. Titelman.
